Must-Try Yoga Poses for Beginners

4. Child Rest Pose

Resting Pose is a relaxing position that provides a light stretch for the back, hips, and thighs. Start on your on the mat, then sit back on your hips and reach your arms forward, placing your forehead to the mat. It’s recommended for relaxing between challenging poses or easing mental strain when feeling stressed.

5. Tree Balance Pose

Vrksasana is a highly effective balance pose for those starting out. Stand tall, shift your weight onto one foot, and place the sole of your raised foot on your calf or calf (keeping off the knee). Place your palms together in front of your chest or elevate them overhead. This pose tones your legs, aids balance, and enhances concentration.
